Saturday, June 6th
10am-12pm PST
Join this workshop to:
clarify what YOU want in a college
learn how to best research colleges
understand what makes a college a likely (safety), target and reach school
build a balanced college list
You can attend the workshop LIVE or utilize the recording at the end. If you attend LIVE, there will be dedicated time for Q&A.
The workshop includes a 30 minute session with me after you create your college list where I give you feedback on if your list has the right amount of likely, target and reach schools.
Saturday, June 27th
10am-12pm PST
In this workshop you will:
learn what colleges are looking for in the college essay
understand the difference between the Common App personal statement, UC personal insight questions and supplemental essays
gain insight into what you can write about for your essays
understand the do’s and don’t of college essay writing
You can attend this workshop live or watch the recording later.
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT ESSAY FEEDBACK
I will provide feedback to you via a recorded video for up to 5 essays (1 personal statement and 4 UC personal insight questions, or 1 personal statement and 4 supplemental essays, etc.)
There will be TWO ROUNDS of essay feedback. In order to receive both rounds of feedback, you must turn in your drafts to me on time!
FIRST DRAFT is due: Sunday, July 12th at 5pm PST
I will give you feedback via a recorded video by Sunday, July 19th
SECOND DRAFT is due: Sunday, July 26th at 5pm PST
I will give you feedback via a recorded video by Sunday, August 2nd
Please note that I’m not able to provide feedback outside of these deadlines. These deadlines are there to help you stay on track and build steady momentum as you work through your essay drafts. Staying with the timeline will help you start senior year with most of your essays already drafted, which makes the fall feel much more manageable. 😉
This offering is good for 2 rounds of essay feedback only. If you would like more feedback and time, please reach out to me about my individual hourly rate.
